The Intercom Conversations app lets teammates access all their Intercom conversations and customers from their iPhone or iPad.
Intercom is the first to bring messaging products for sales, marketing & customer service to one platform, helping businesses avoid the stiff, spammy status quo and have real conversations that build real connections. Designed to feel like the messaging apps you use every day, Intercom lets you talk to consumers almost anywhere: inside your app, on your website, across social media and via email.
With the Intercom Conversations mobile app you can:
Manage your inbox from anywhere
View and assign conversations, see where you’re mentioned, and collaborate with your team using internal notes
Start or continue a conversation
Send a new message or respond to a customer via in-app or email
Insert saved replies to resolve common questions faster
Search and see your leads and users
Gain context by viewing a user or lead’s live profile to reduce frustrating back and forth
Pros and cons of Intercom Conversations app for iPhone and iPad
Intercom Conversations app good for
Every recent update is very awesome. Thanks, guys!)
Youre making the app more an more convenient to use. Keep it up) definitely 5 stars to your great work!
Awesome to have a way to talk to customers no matter where I am.
I had no problem logging in. The app is snappy and looks gorgeous. But more importantly, it lets me talk to my customers better than ever. I’ve only had it installed a few hours and already a handful of my customers have been wowed by our support’s response times. It makes handling support feel as quick as dashing off an SMS to a friend.
The push notifications are AWESOME — I can be notified of a customer’s message and reply to it before the notification email even hits Gmail.
The only downside is that I need to logout/login for different accounts — I have two different companies using Intercom. But I’m sure that use-case is in the minority. (You can of course switch between apps inside of an account).
Overall this is a great companion to Intercom, which is a crucial service for me.
After update to 1.2.3 version, app crash on first start and not opening:(
Its really annoying that the number of active conversations is constantly shown as the notification count. It should show unread messages or something, but definitely not the number of people Im in communication with.
Otherwise seems pretty good to me.
The iOS app is useful. However it would be even better if:
1) you could see all the user activities as done on the web.
2) it also lacks all the details about events.
Hope to see these two additions with one of the next updates.
Some bad moments
Cant set up account before immediate switch to log-in screen so dysfunctional
This is a great companion app for Intercom. Love the user profiles, I can see what’s happening in my segments and check out what the rest of my team are doing without having to open the web app. Sweet.
This app will not accept my email so I cant even open the app. Very disappointed!
This new version makes it extremely buggy. I wish I can revert back versions.
It adds unnecessary buttons and loading time has increased dramatically. I wont upgrade if given a chance ;(
Its great - all conversations from Intercom, in your pocket.
Really straightforward, awesome addition to the Intercom platform for any admins.
Awesome to have a way to talk to customers no matter where I am.
